Mary Irvine

Mary Irvine is the Director of Research and Evaluation in the Care, Treatment, and Housing Program in the Bureau of HIV/AIDS Prevention and Control of the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene. In this role, she is responsible for improving reporting systems, developing data collection tools, designing evaluation plans, disseminating findings, and overseeing data/reporting technical assistance to contractors to ensure effective monitoring and evaluation. During her previous employment with Columbia University, Dr. Irvine was responsible for the evaluation of a multi-site HIV treatment adherence support intervention, and consulted on qualitative research design and data analysis for other HIV-related projects. Dr. Irvine earned her MPH and DrPH in sociomedical sciences from the Mailman School of Public Health at Columbia University.
