Dr. Sanjay Arora is the Assistant Research Director in the department of Emergency Medicine at the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California and is the director of medical student research. He completed his emergency medicine training at UCLA and served as chief resident in his final year. He has received grants to study the impact of chronic disease on the emergency department (specifically HIV and diabetes) and the integration of mobile health into the emergency department encounter. Additionally he is an internationally recognized educator in emergency medicine, receiving speaker of the year awards at the two largest national meetings in his specialty in 2011.
